In Brazil, airlines GOL and TAM have daily flights to Ilheus from Salvador, Rio de Janeiro, So Paulo, and Belo Horizonte. Itacar is approx 66km from the Ilheus airport and is reached in around 1 hour by car. There is also daily bus transportation from Ilheus to Itacar.
